INTRODUCTION
我的专业是中红外光谱及其应用. 我目前的研究重点是温室气体的检测和确定它们对气候的影响. My areas of teaching includes optics, thermodynamics, atomic and molecular physics, laser physics, atmospheric physics, astronomy and general physics.
RESEARCH
我的研究兴趣集中在用光学光谱技术检测有机氟化合物. 有机氟化合物是工业和消费品中使用的人为分子. Once release in the environment, 它们成为强有力的温室气体,导致气候变化. 我目前的研究包括两个不同的方向:
- 微量气体光谱特征的实验和计算获取,以确定它们对气候的影响.
- 用衰减全反射技术检测液体和固体表面污染.
Facilities: Dr. Le Bris实验室配备了高分辨率Nicolet™iS50 FTIR光谱仪, 一个10com长的温度控制气体电池, and a single-pass ATR system.
